CMS Schools

Children are the future and the education we provide must reflect and ready them for a better one. Financial constraints are the major reason for children’s limitations with education. CMS raises funds just for this cause. It provides education to all ages – from kindergarten to high school graduates. The schools are equipped with spacious classrooms and teachers who focus on developing their skills and pave way for them to make a living.

Residential Children Homes

Residential child care homes in CMS play a crucial role in providing shelter, care, and support to children in need. These homes serve as safe havens for children who have been orphaned, abandoned, or subjected to difficult circumstances. With dedicated staff and infrastructure, these homes aim to create a nurturing environment that promotes the overall well-being of the children. They provide essential amenities such as food, clothing, education, and healthcare. Moreover, in CMS residential child care homes focus on holistic development, offering emotional support, life skills training, and opportunities for recreational activities. Through our homes, countless children are given a chance to grow, thrive, and build a better future.

CMS ITIs

CMS has Industrial Training Centres for graduates from CMS schools. The institute has been affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training. The training centres produce fitters, electricians, and Motor Mechanics, who go on and get their driving lessons. It helps them make something of themselves with the above-mentioned life skills.

CMS Schools

Ensuring that children are prepared for a brighter future, education must align with their needs. Unfortunately, financial constraints often limit their access to quality education. Addressing this issue, CMS raises funds exclusively for this purpose. CMS endeavours to provide education for children of all ages, from kindergarten to high school graduates. The schools are well-equipped with spacious classrooms and dedicated teachers who focus on nurturing their skills and creating opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. By prioritizing education, CMS aims to empower children and enable them to thrive in their academic journey and beyond.

Kiruba Centres

The Kiruba program is started with the aim of reaching out to children in their communities between 4 to 6 pm daily after they get back from school. We provide them with a serene atmosphere to study and a delicious meal making sure they are not physically and mentally hungry. Apart from taking care of the children, our team also addresses various issues faced by the community people like alcoholism, debt, health, and social issues.

CMS ITI for boys

CMS operates Industrial Training Centres specifically designed for graduates from CMS homes. These centers are affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training, ensuring high-quality training. Graduates from these centers acquire skills in fields such as fitting, electrical work, and motor mechanics. Furthermore, they have the opportunity to undergo driving lessons, further enhancing their skill set. These vocational training programs equip individuals with valuable life skills, enabling them to pursue meaningful careers and make something significant of themselves.

Day Care Centres

The concept of Day Care Centres started with the motto of “Community Development” in mind. We look after the kids of poor workers during the day when they are at work. The children here are provided with physical and spiritual nourishment along with education. Our team has rescued kids from cruelties like child labor and sexual abuse and guided them towards the light at the end of the tunnel.

CMS ITI for girls

CMS operates specialized Industrial Training Centres for girls who are graduates from CMS homes. These centers have affiliations with the National Council for Vocational Training, ensuring the provision of high-quality training. Initially, in 1990, we offered the Draughtsman Civil Training course, which was later transformed into the Radio Servicing and TV maintenance Course in line with the Industrial School Certificate pattern. In 1997, the Mechanical Radio and Television course gained affiliation from the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). In 2017, the Institute reintroduced a government-recognized computer course. Additionally, Typewriting Courses are also available. To provide a brighter future for our girls, the Mission has expanded its services to include additional short-term courses such as Tally, Fashion Design, and Hardware Networking. Currently, 41 trainees are being instructed by three qualified instructors in various courses. The trainees are able to secure employment in both government and private sectors. Some of them have even chosen to serve in our Mission as Child Care Workers and Computer Operators.

Kiruba Centres

With the objective of assisting children in their communities, the Kiruba program operates daily from 4 to 6 pm, immediately after the children return from school. Our primary focus is to create a peaceful environment for their studies and ensure they are well-nourished with a delightful meal, addressing both their physical and mental hunger. In addition to caring for the children, our dedicated team also tackles a range of challenges faced by the community, including alcoholism, debt, health concerns, and social issues. Through the Kiruba program, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of both children and the broader community.

Day Care Centres

The establishment of Day Care Centres was driven by the principle of “Community Development.” These centers offer a caring environment for the children of impoverished workers while their parents are at work during the day. In these centers, the children receive not only physical and spiritual nourishment but also access to education. Our dedicated team has played a pivotal role in rescuing children from atrocities such as child labour and sexual abuse, guiding them towards a brighter future and providing them with hope.

Staff Training Center

The facility primarily functions as a training center for our house fathers and mothers, focusing on childcare. The center aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of house mothers to ensure the provision of high-quality care for the children. It offers various training programs that provide comprehensive guidance on childcare practices and techniques. Furthermore, the unit also serves as accommodation for volunteers from India and overseas when they visit and contribute to our initiatives. The presence of volunteers at the center fosters cultural exchange and creates a rich learning environment for both the volunteers and house mothers.

External Education

In 1974, a program was initiated to sponsor students for higher education in institutions outside of CMS. This program, which began with three students, is still ongoing. After completing their secondary schooling, the children are selected for further training or education based on their abilities, interests, and performance. As part of this program, the students are enrolled in various courses such as B. Com, B.Sc., Nursing, and more.

Family Fosterage Scheme

Initially, this program was established to assist children who were unable to be accommodated in Homes due to limited availability. Families were provided with financial aid to fulfil the basic requirements of the child until they could be placed in one of the homes. Currently, there are 40 children being supported through the family fosterage program. The majority of these children reside with their parents or guardians, and they may come from disadvantaged backgrounds or have disabilities. Every month, monetary support is sent to the families to cover the educational expenses and overall development of the child, ensuring a brighter future for them.

Out Reach Programme

Our work extends beyond children and encompasses the impoverished and needy individuals in the community. We offer weekly assistance, which includes providing 5-10 kg of rice, monetary support, medical aid, and meals based on the specific needs of each family. These services are provided on a monthly basis, allowing families to receive the support they require and then continue with their daily lives.
