Mission
To serve destitute children by meeting their needs and giving them holistic care with the view to make them self- reliant and responsible citizens.
A little about us
Christian Mission Service (CMS), a philanthropic organization, has been collaborating with sponsors since 1957 to assist marginalized individuals in our society. Their focus includes orphaned and destitute children, individuals with physical and mental challenges, as well as the elderly. CMS, is dedicated to the education and empowerment of disadvantaged children and operates in 6 states nationwide to achieve its vision. Among these states is a residence for mentally challenged children, differently-abled children, and senior citizens, along with Ingrid Kowski Hospital, a modest hospital. The hospital provides care to those in need regardless of their caste, creed, or religion. Currently, CMS oversees the well-being of 3,900 children and is supported by a committed team of 350 staff members, many of whom are CMS alumni dedicated to this noble cause.
CMS, in its pursuit of academic advancement, offers various facilities and programs. These include
- Residential homes located in six Indian states (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal).
- Training centers (ITIs)
- Primary and high schools
- Kiruba Centers, which provide evening tuition along with dinner
- Day care centers (creches) for children above the age of three.
Since its establishment, CMS has welcomed approximately 55,000 children, ensuring that excellence and quality are never compromised. The organization is dedicated to nurturing the full potential of each child through a holistic education approach. At CMS, we believe in building bridges that guide children from their present circumstances towards a promising future. We express deep gratitude for the invaluable support received from around the world, as it has enabled us to inspire and positively impact the lives of numerous individuals.
